Advance

www.EpicChurchlv.org has a mission:  “To Advance The Kingdom of God, by Relationally and Compassionately, Leading People To Christ”.

The word I’m targeting today is: Advance.

Advance = Movement Forward. Some people are cool with the status-quo, but I’m not, never have been, and don’t think I ever will be until Jesus takes me home.  God has just wired me this way, it’s in my DNA.

No movement, no progress, no progress, no advancement, and no advancement means something has bottle-necked somewhere, and it’s someones responsibility to figure out why things aren’t moving forward, and aren’t advancing.

At www.EpicChurchlv.org you’ll notice if you come to our celebration gathering this Sunday, some advancements in the EpicQuest Ministry to Children areas are happening.  Construction, tear-outs, painting, signage, etc…..One might get all caught up in the colors, the changes, the coolness of it all.  Nothing wrong with that!   But what am I stoked about?   Movement forward!  Advancement!  Why?  Because a whole lot of lost kids are and will  be found, and one day I’ll get to celebrate in a big way with these children in heaven, all because some-one had guts enough to move forward, to advance.

www.EpicChurchlv.org will Advance The Kingdom Of God, By Relationally And Compassionately Leading People To Christ.  The question I have is…..what role will you play in advancing the Kingdom of God?  Trust me, you won’t regret it!!  I mean really, what is the other alternative?  Stagnation?  Have you ever smelled a stagnate pond?
