OK, here we go!! Are you ready? Do you really want to find out why God has put you on the face of the earth? Do you really want to find out what purpose He as uniquely given you to do? Please say “Yes!” Otherwise, go grab a sub sandwich, enjoy Oprah (I really like Oprah – man, she’s picked on a lot:), and then hope that your life has some sunshine. The world is spinning, life is moving, and we’re growing older by the minute. Time is ticking away, and I like what Robin Williams said in “Dead Poets Society”, we’ll all become food for worms, and eventually push up daisies, because we’re no different than anyone else. Yes, if you’re a follower of Jesus Christ, eternity is waiting for you, but for now, for now, LIVE!!!!!
I’ve learned over the years a few important questions you will ever ask or answer: Please rate your self on the following……
1. Do you live with passion?

WEAK STRONG
This is the true joy in life — being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one, being a force of nature instead of a feverish, selfish little clod of ailments and grievances, complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy. I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community as long as I live, it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can. I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work, the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no brief candle to me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I’ve got a hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations.
— George Bernard Shaw
2. Do you live your life on purpose, by intention, and deliberately?
1 2 3 4 5 6 7
WEAK STRONG
I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life! To put to rest all that was not life. And not when I came to die, discover that I have not lived.
— Henry David Thoreau
3. How are you going to bless the world? (Making a significant contribution)
1 2 3 4 5 6 7
WEAK STRONG
I went & saw the movie “The Soloist” Friday. It’s an American drama film directed by Joe Wright and written by Susannah Grant. The film is based on a true story of Nathaniel Ayers, a musician who becomes schizophrenic and homeless. Jamie Foxx portrays Nathaniel Ayers, who is considered a cello prodigy, and Robert Downey Jr. portrays Steve Lopez, a Los Angeles Times columnist who discovers Ayers and writes about him in the newspaper. I thought the movie was weak & could’ve been developed so much better. But what I did take away from it was, you, blessing the world, might just be caring for & loving one person, irregardless of whether that person ever gives anything back to you. There is deep meaning in that!! Everything doesn’t have to be grand, for you to bless the world, but please seek to be a blessing somewhere!!
4. What is your dream? (A vision bigger than yourself)
1 2 3 4 5 6 7
WEAK STRONG
Doesn’t have to be grand — one life changed!
5. What will your Tombstone say? (Do you know where you are going?)
1 2 3 4 5 6 7
WEAK STRONG
What I really lack is to be clear in my mind that I am to do, what I am to know…The thing is to understand myself, to see what God really wishes me to do…to find the idea for which I can live and die.
— Soren Kierkegaard
I’ll keep it coming in the days ahead, but for now, answer those questions. Don’t over analyze, but don’t blow it off either. Why? YOU DO HAVE A UNIQUE PURPOSE!!! What is it?
this looks vaguely familiar
Brian, I think you’ve seen it before? LOL I do recall the 3m’s. You’re well on your way!! Way to go!!
