When a vision moves to action, it ceases to be a dream, and moves to reality. That is exactly what happened this past weekend in UT. We launched our men’s 2009 mentoring initiative, and it was great. Never launch a year of mentoring without retreating first, it sets the pace & foundation for the rest of the year. We prayed, we played, we team built, we ate, we ate, we ate (sorry!), and we grew relationally. Mentoring + Time + Commitment = A year ahead with change & transformation, all for the glory of God. 17 men have committed to one year of character formation, and leadership training.
5 meals, 3 training sessions, 2 team building exercises, worship, prayer, and to top it off, a little UFC action Saturday night. I confess it doesn’t get much better than that!
Below are just some of the highlights & gives you just a little idea of how the weekend looked.
Men – I love being your pastor!

that one guy in the camo is really good looking…
lol…
Thanks Pastor for including my husband in on this. I am so excited about this – for all of the men! Even if my car gets muddy… (still looking for a car wash that can handle it).
Nicole,
Your husband is a true blessing to me, and to the men as well. I pray that you, your children, and your children’s children will reap the rewards of a man that was so sold out to Jesus, that He leaves a legacy that no one can argue against.
Behind every good man, is a great woman!;)
Jesus, help Nicole to find a a good car wash somewhere in Vegas. Ha, ha!!
