Pastor's School & Your Bucket List

Just arrived back from Tommy Barnett’s Pastor School, Phoenix, AZ. A great day of inspiration, and dreaming. It’s amazing what someone with a vision, fully surrendered to God can do. God knows no limitations!
Ate like garbage today. Pop-tarts, muffins, Pei Wei was good, and then finished the night off with a package of gummi bears. Nice diet huh! That is not normal, but when you’re on the fly, you do what you have to do.
Spent the early morning on prayer mountain, and watched the sunrise. What an amazing time of prayer and meditation I had.
The breakout sessions I attended had to do with ministry to men. I’m really beginning to catch a vision for ministry to men. I’ll write more about that area of ministry in a later blog, and will post picks, and thoughts from our men’s mentoring launch that we had this past weekend in Brian Head, UT. That was definitely a mountain top experience! Men, you will become History Makers!
It was nice connecting with an old college buddy, and now pastor in Logansport, IN, Andy Weil. Had dinner with him, and his staff. Great memories. Man, did I do stupid things in college, and he sure reminded me.
The night was wrapped up with a final service and the church put on a new musical entitled the “Bucket List”. Funny, and entertaining, and great meaning wrapped up in it all. Live & Love, bottom line!
Hey, if you had only 100 days to live, what would you do prior to leaving this life? Not a morbid thought, because you’ll spend far more time in the next life, then you will in this one. What would you want to be known for? What would your bucket list be?
Final thought – I miss my family! I love you guys!
