Monday Hangover

If you’re a pastor, a Monday hangover is nothing new to you. It’s when you come off of Sunday services, in which you put your heart & soul into making Sunday an environment in which people can come and experience life change. I typically build up all week for Sunday, and then try as best as I can to communicate the Word of God under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. I wouldn’t change it for the world, it’s just a reality of how I feel on Monday A.M..
This Sunday, we did a staff lunch directly after the 2nd service. We typically do staff meetings every Sunday afternoon. Great time with the team this week! I was planning on making it to “Care” (Epic’s Homeless Outreach), after staff, but staff went a little long.
Sunday evening, we had our annual Christmas Banquet. Nearly 90 in attendance!!! It was fun, great fellowship, good food, nice entertainment (carols were a little long, but thank you “Bishop Gorman – choral”, you guys did a nice job!:) Also thank you Frank & Suzzie Villanueva & Mike & Debbie Wolford, for all your time and energy you put into making the night a great success. You guys did things with excellence, and you rock big time!! It is a pleasure serving Christ with you!
It’s Tuesday now, so my hangover is over -ha, ha! Sobering up, drinking a cup of coffee, and planning the rest of the week. Sunday’s coming & Mondays not too far behind!!!
