Sick of hearing about the “Ugly Truth?” Final post!
Craig Gross (xxxchurch.com) and I did a Q & A session on relationships last Sunday @ EpicChurchLasVegas. Very fun!! Click to watch! If you do not have time to watch and listen? Here is a recap of the questions we addressed. I am not going to give you the answers, because you have no time to read 12 pages of follow-up answers to peoples questions. I am not even going to summarize. Where the bible spoke, we used it. Where the bible did not directly speak directly to a question, we did our best to deduce what God might think on an issue. Where there is no biblical correlation at all, we just did our best to give answers based upon our own education, marriages, and counseling that we have done over the years. No, everybody did not agree with us on all our answers. That was made known to me in follow-up conversations. That does not bug me. I love being stretched and challenged. If I am attacked that is a whole other animal. No attacks!!!:)
Here are the questions:
1. How does a wife handle her sexual drive being stronger than her husbands?
2. As a teenager, is it bad to want to have a boyfriend, and think about your future together? Do all teen boys have raging hormones? Are there some guys that sincerely like me for me?
3. The bible says a wife is to submit to her husband. If a woman is married to an unbeliever, should she submit in all things, even if it is sinning against God?
4. What is better? Getting your wife jewelry, or paying off your credit cards?
5. Are all women perfect, and do all men suck?
6. How do you find the right marriage partner?
7. What do you do if your spouses personality is very different from yours? I don’t like to argue so instead I avoid conversations that matter to me, because I do not want to start a fight. Any advice?
8. How do you rebuild trust in marriage?
9. What steps should an engaged couple, or singles take prior to getting married to ensure a more informed look at what they are entering into?
10. How do you heal & move forward from past wounds that your spouse inflicted upon you? One……being forced into pre-marital sex.
11. What do you do if your spouse does not listen to your reason, or logic?
12. If your spouse committed adultery, are you bound to stay married?
13. What do you do if your husband is addicted to News/Politics/Sports/Etc….?
There you have it. There were additional questions asked, but we did not have time to address them. If you would like me to send you our answers, you can request them at my e-mail: jason@epicchurchlv.org. Also, if you have any questions of your own, please feel free to ask. I will do my best to send them to Dr. Phil!!! Just kidding!!!
